CraneMail users receive a complimentary eM Client Business Pro license valid for 3 devices per primary domain.
Prerequisites
- Login to SmarterMail (usually
mail.yourdomain.com) as a Domain Administrator. - Valid for top-level domains only (subdomains excluded).
- CraneMail service active and DNS is pointed at us (you're receiving new mail in CraneMail).
How to Claim
- Log in to SmarterMail as Admin.
- Go to More > Domain Marketplace.
- Click eM Client > Request Code.
- Copy the code sent to your admin email from SmarterMail.
- Paste the code where you requested it in the Domain Marketplace.
- Your License Key will be displayed and emailed to you.
How to Activate
- Download eM Client from emclient.com.
- Open eM Client and go to Menu > Help > License.
- Click Activate and paste your key.
Success! Your eM Client is now upgraded to Business Pro.
Key Notes
- Device Limit: 3 machines. Deactivate one to move to a new PC.
- Admin Only: Standard users cannot claim the license.
- Mobile: License is for Desktop (Win/Mac). Use the free eM Client mobile app for phones.
- Support: If using a multi-level ccTLD and encountering issues, please open a support ticket.
- Works For Other Email Accounts: Yes the eM Client will work with both CraneMail email accounts and those hosted elsewhere, it's not a locked/limited license.
